Friends!

Tomorrow I fly to Toronto for Canadan Reads! I”ve spent all week in LA and Vancouver preparing my defense and resting up! I’m super nervous and hoping to be a strong convincing voice for ESSEX COUNTY. I truly love Jeff Lemire’s book and I promise to give it my best! Stiff competition! Debate city!

This morning I was cleaning my coffee bodum and suffered a freak injury. My mom let me run my 60 second defense for Canada Reads while we waited in the emergency room. It was actually a pretty fun adventure. Not thrilled with the white bandaged aesthetic…but…i still have a finger…so, I’m not complaining!

It’s been a great month of traveling and relaxing and reading! Now its time to get back to work! More exciting news coming soon!

Mañana vuelo a Toronto para Canadá Lee! He pasado toda la semana en Los Ángeles y Vancouver preparando mi defensa y descansando! Estoy muy nerviosa y con la esperanza de ser una voz fuerte y convincente para ESSEX COUNTY. Realmente me gusta el libro de Jeff Lemire y prometo dar lo mejor de mi! La fuerte competencia! Ciudad de debate!

Esta mañana estaba limpiando mi BODUM café y sufrí una lesión anormal. Mi mamá me dejó correr mis 60 segundos de defensa de Canadá lee, mientras esperábamos en la sala de emergencias. En realidad, fue una aventura muy divertida. No contentos con la estética de vendado blanco... pero... todavía tengo un dedo... así, no me estoy quejando!

Ha sido un gran mes de viaje y descanso y la lectura! Ahora es el momento de volver a trabajar! Verán más noticias emocionantes muy pronto!

Today is the video premiere for Intervention! This is the song we wrote together with Margaret Cho, for her comedy album Cho Dependent, which has also been nominated for a Grammy for Best Comedy Album! Congrats Margaret!!
